Adams & Martin Group is working with a consumer goods company in its search for a mid-level Litigation Attorney for a temporary engagement. This role is ideal for a hands-on attorney who can quickly integrate into an active litigation environment and provide immediate support across ongoing matters and new legal issues.The litigation team is currently managing a high volume of work and requires an experienced professional who is ready to step in and contribute from day one.
Role will begin onsite but they open to a hybrid schedule as the Attorney settles in.
Responsibilities
- Provide litigation support across a variety of active and emerging matters
- Assist with case strategy, legal research, and drafting
- Review and prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and outside counsel as needed
- Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, in-house legal environment
- Support matters spanning U.S. federal, California state, and potentially international jurisdictions
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing (California preferred)
- 3-6+ years of litigation experience, ideally including in-house or consumer goods exposure
- Strong experience with civil litigation processes, including motion practice
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working on-site in Chatsworth
